d. Models that meet the IEC60269-6 standard are suitable for PV overcurrent and short circuit protection.
The fuse-link support used for photovoltaic array protection shall meet the following requirements:
a. The rated voltage is greater than or equal to the maximum voltage corrected according to the expected minimum temperature of the installation site according to the photovoltaic panel manufacturer's instructions or the table above;
b. The rated current is greater than or equal to the rated current of the corresponding fuse-link;
c. The protection level is suitable for the installation site and not lower than IP 2X.

For the protection of the entire photovoltaic array, the fuse should be installed at the connection position between the photovoltaic array wire and the application circuit wire, generally between the battery and the battery pack and the charge controller, and as close as possible to the battery position, as shown in the following photovoltaic system schematic.
The figure shows that it is used to protect the system and wires from the inflow of fault currents of photovoltaic arrays at other locations or other connected power sources, such as batteries or battery packs. ISC ARRAY refers to the short-circuit current of the photovoltaic array under standard test conditions, equal to N times the short-circuit current ISC-MOD of the photovoltaic string. N is the short-circuit current in the collection. The total number of PV strings is in parallel. There may be no corresponding fuse specifications for large-rated winds, and other overcurrent protection devices such as overcurrent protection relays are usually used.
